Last but not least, I worked in different hotels as a banquet servers throughout my holidays and weekends. Thus, in my opinion, I feel that I would be able to learn more about the latest fashion trend with a variety of designs and the construction of clothes using different types of materials, which would be able to satisfy the customer. Also, by designing clothes, I would hope that the customer would be pleased with the design that I have constructed. In addition, by having customers to wear what I have designed on a runway show or other events, I would personally feel that I have accomplished what I wanted. Furthermore, I am also able to take in harsh criticism from my lecturer, and use it to improve my design, to make even better designs to please my customers and change it to my customer’s liking. Therefore, by entering this course, I would be able to gain more knowledge of the workings in the fashion industry.

My CCA is National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) and I hold the rank of Station Inspector. I have good communication skills and have leadership qualities. I have also won the MOE EAGLES Award for Leadership.  I have participated in my school’s Intergenerational Learning Programme and by helping the elderly I managed to demonstrate my communication skills.

Being part of NCDCC, it teaches me to stay focus, diligent and preserve in the things I am doing. I have also been awarded with Edusave Character Award (ECHA) and many more achievements and activities from school and CCA. With my positive attitudes and passion with this course, I will work towards my goals and be proficient for my future career.
