         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Cloze Activities:</strong> Is a strategies in which teachers present previously known knowledge using specific words, phrases, or missing pieces. Teachers then ask students to fill in the missing information. <br><br><strong>Summaries:</strong> Teachers can create summaries of previous learned knowledge for students to preview and reference back to, or teachers can have students create summaries of previous learned knowledge as well. Summaries should be used frequently in class. <br><br><strong>Demonstrations: Teachers engage students using demonstrations where students have a brief review of of knowledge by completing a task that requires them to recall previous knowledge gained from other units. </strong> <br><br><strong>Questioning: Teachers prompt students by asking specific questions that have students remember, identify, or apply content from previous learned knowledge. Teachers can also ask students to use previously learned knowledge to make ideas on new content. </strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Cloze Activities:</strong> Teachers can use images, IWB software, or online presentation software to fill in blanks or answer questions for cloze activities. <br><br><strong>Summaries:</strong> Students can use technology to organize and enhance summaries of previous content using audio recording files, online text to speech, and graphic online organizers.<br><br><strong>Demonstrations:</strong> Students can use digital recording software, screen capturing software, or online classroom platforms to post discussions on class tasks to demonstrate understanding of previous knowledge. <br><br><strong>Questioning:</strong> For questioning teachers can use online tools such as quizlet to create online flashcards for students so study. Teachers can also use online questioning tools like Nearpod similar to clicker quiz to check for understanding. </div>]]></description>
