The album cover I chose was ganger by veeze I chose this because he one of my favorite artists. What I see on the cover is veeze floating in the clouds. The reason he is in the clouds is to represent him always being high on drugs. Another thing on the cover is drugs in the the back that also represents him being on drugs. The reason why the title of the album is ganger is because that is what he calls his closest friends.

Dr. J.N. merriman was the first president and the chapters first secretary was beatrice morrow cannady. the editor of an African American newspaper the advocate. the mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political educational equality of minority group citizens of states and eliminate race prejudice.

Nina vocal career began in 1954 in an Atlantic city, new jersey night club when the club owner threatened to fire her if she didn't sing to her. her first album featured her distinctive version of jazz and cabaret standards. she performed at summer of soul 1969. her first concert debut a classical recital was given when she was 12.

Stevie wonder is a blind artist from Saginaw, Michigan born in may 13, 1950. Stevie has won 25 Grammy's and many other awards. Wonder lost his sight as a new born he had an eye disorder called retinopathy of prematurity. this was caused by abnormal blood vessels throughout the retina. what made Stevie wonder start singing is that is mom kept him inside a lot she did this to protect him. so Stevie would start making rhythms on pots and tabletops around his house. his mom noticed his talent and she bought him a harmonica and signed him up for the local church choir.

The longtime founder of Taylor electric company. But he started off working coal mines in Alabama but in 1917 taylor’s brother was lynched this Taylor to shoot the man who lynched his brother. This made him leave Alabama for Chicago. When he got to Chicago, he began working with two black electricians employed by the 8th regiment US Army in Chicago after taking some courses, he received his electrician license and began working in neighborhoods including working for blue star, auto and famous gangster al Capone. This allowed him to create his company, Taylor electric company. His chief assistant was Charles Stewart, the son of his domestic partner. Taylor’s mines experience led him to expect union support, but in Chicago the trade unions had a brotherhood of electrical workers and they were all white and had power. So Taylor and other black electricians and help from congressman Oscar Depriest received allowance for them to form a black union. In 1931 Taylor married Jessie Thompson Who gave birth to three children who made the company continue.

David was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania his mom and dad are both from Ghana. as a kid he lived in several middle east and African countries due to his dads work. when he was 14 his family settled in England. in school he was subjected to racial harassment by white kids. after doing one year foundation course at middlex university David earned his bachelors degree in architecture with first class honors at south bank university. after his schooling he designed sets for a music videos for British rock band pretenders. he also design a house for Alexander McQueen a famous fashion designer. David founded Adjaye Associates that currently employs 35 architects with offices in New York, London, and Berlin.
