I grew up going to school in Waco, Texas but ended up moving around a lot of the schools in the area. I always loved school and found a passion for teaching in my middle school years, where I had some really impactful teachers.

I started out at the university as an architecture major and quickly realized that my heart was still in teaching. I changed my major to childhood education after my first semester and I couldn’t be happier! I am pursuing my masters degree with a certificate in STEM and I am so excited to continue to pursue my educational career as a junior next semester.

My family has always been very supportive of my educational journey and future job. My grandmother was an English teacher for many different grades and has given me great advice on my decision to be a teacher. I wouldn’t be anywhere close to where I am today without my beloved family!
