I then formed the top of the horn by just taking a wooden knife and splitting the end of the horn in two. I first started by throwing a pretty standard, averaged size bowl shape(flared lip is optional). During the trimming process I made sure to make a raised foot-ring for easy grip during the glazing process and for the style in general. The reason I did all this was a request from my mom. She wanted a bowl that looked like it had glaze just dripped down from the rim, with the raw bisque exposed on the bottom. I thought that sounded cool, so I got to glazing. I decided on cream for the base. I just did a simple dip, about three fourths of the bowl coated from the top. Then, I dipped cappuccino halfway down from the rim. This is probably inadvisable as some drips got extremely close to the foot-ring. Lastly, I poured emerald green along the inside for smoothness and nice color. Overall, this is my favorite bowl so far.
