This topic can be overlooked and forgotten but never forgiven. Children will automatically lose respect and trust in their school counselor once their information is shared outside of their relationship this includes minors.

The primary obligation that school counselors have to students can sometimes get in the way of school personnel and the school counselor. It is not uncommon for teachers to want to know the private information that is discussed with the school counselor. Breaches of confidentiality may be necessary and the counselor must "be aware of the boundaries of their legal
and professional roles and ethical responsibilities, especially to understand the
