1. Who am I? This question’s answer includes all relevant details from name and age to physical traits, education, and beliefs. My name is Mrs Jenkins, and I am leading lady in the accounting company I work for. I am a well-educated woman and was always top of my class. I married my husband who is a very well earning man. We have the most beautiful boy called Bruno he is my life.  

2. What time is it? It is summer in England which translates to warm rain sometimes. This weather makes my hair so frizzy.  

3. Where am I? We are on holiday on the coast of England, I'm not particularly sure where but definitely England. We had to stay in the country as my hubby had to be close to home encase, he got called back into work.  

4. What surrounds me? I hate sand its mucky and dirty and Bruno is covered. I wanted to be skiing in the alps but according to Mr Jenkins I needed to relax close to home. Im just happy that my boy is making friends, even if it is with that dastardly child.  

5. What are the given circumstances? My boy hasn't come for his lunch time cuddle, I'm getting worried. Hubby keeps on telling me to calm down and enjoy my holiday, but I can't properly relax. I know he's young and adventurous, but he can't forget his poor mummy  

6. What are my relationships? My sweet darling Bruno, he is the light of my life. I love him so dearly. He is my whole life and more. He’s my blonde haired brown eyed boy. Oh, I'm also married.  

7. What do I want? I just want my boy to check in with me. I'm getting very worried. His father is being useless as always.  

8. What is in my way? I must overcome my fear of mice. My sweet Brunos new friend has them as pets. I'll do anything for my boy.  

9. What do I do to get what I want? I will wait until dinner and ask my angel babies new friends' grandmother if she's seen him.  

• To get checked in so she can shower after being in the car all day.

• To get Bruno something to eat so he stops bothering me.

Scene 4 (Final Appearance)-

• To find Bruno.

• To sit down and eat.

• Find a way to turn my son back from being a mouse.

Outside: Wealthy, Well put together, dolled up, good posture, a helicopter parent, stuck up, put on a front of being raised wealthy, white picket family. A harsh mother and a harsher wife.

Inside: Panicked, unhappily married, raised lower class, rougher childhood, obsessive, argumentative, doesn't know how to process without her son.

Mr Jenkins cant seem to understand that I am overworked too. I provide for this family just as much as he does but no, he cannot take 5 seconds away from the country incase his work needs him. His work. Not our sweet baby, his work.

Bruno pays no mind to where we are, he is currently leaning on me in the backseat and sleeping as I stroke his sweet curly brown hair. I feel peace when I'm with my boy, if anything he is all i need in life.

I simply went to go find my sweet boy to give him his doughnut and I heard him calling, nay, screaming my name for help, of course, my motherly instincts kicked in and raced toward him.

When I got to him he was all mucky and I had to drag him down and brush him off. Then the insults began, and I know my sons larger than most but he is still my little boy. My little Bruno.

I decided to try to relax and hope he was just off somewhere with his new friend, I am still trying to relax now. I ordered some pinot to enjoy on the balcony. If Mr Jenkins keeps snoring, I might need another bottle and a straw.

As Mrs Jenkins, I got feedback on my blocking for both scenes as I kept on turning my back toward the audience and my face toward the back. I rectified this by having Bruno be placed in front of me to my right slightly so we don't block each other as Luke who plays Bruno is quite a bit taller than me. This also stopped me from turning my head backwards by having him in front of me.

For the dinner scene blocking each other was still an issue so we spaced ourselves out diagonally so we had more room to be seen.

Cast Grandfather

Making more chatter during the kids scene during both bells was a common piece of feedback to counteract this I have adlibbed more in character throwing a tantrum, shouting 'lunchtime' when the second bell goes and pretending to hide.

More energy in the Witches meeting scene and using physicality was a bit of feedback we had received multiple times. I decided to hunch my posture more and by creepily twitching my head. I have also started to rub my hands together more. We also laughed more during the parts where the children get turned into mice. We also worked on the rhythm of the spoken song and I worked on my physicality and vocal performance of my solo lines in the spoken song.

During the dinner scene as a guest we were told to chat more but not too loudly. I have created a character of Denise who is there with her teen daughter. She knows Mrs Jenkins through work from many moons ago. She chatters with Mrs Jenkins throughout and when she leaves she chats with her teen daughter.
