I came across this image of a dad, son, and later the son and his daughter on Pinterest. To me what caught my attention was the dad talking to the son about appreciation of things in life. My interpretation of this image is that our society is surrounded by all kinds of plants. It is what we do with and how we take care plants surrounding us that can either help us or hurt us. Under the father and son watering the small plant, is the son with his daughter playing with the now very large tree. With a lot of care and love it grew into something beautiful. Our environment is surrounded by all kinds of plants such as trees, flowers, etc which with care and love can turn into something very beautiful.

The animation I chose comes from the website mhhe.com . I chose this because it seemed very well structured and helped me understand the process better. When watching the clip if I got stuck I could simply click on a certain part for example light-dependent reactions. The layout is sectioned off and shows the process more simply than looking at it in a text book.

The biome that I feel is is danger of ecological change is the temperate grasslands. According to https://www.iucn.org/content/interview-temperate-grasslands-most-threatened-biome-world
temperate grasslands used to make up about 8% of the earth's surface, but now only about 3.4% Human needs have played a huge role in the destruction of this biome. It can be seen as most altered but the least protected. It was one the home of wildlife including North American bison and Argentina's pampas deer. However due to the production of crops, forest plantations, urbanization and other land uses such as energy and mining development there is habitat loss, declining biodiversity, desertification and fragmentation.

We also see that they are staying in one place. With domestication of plants and animals nomads became able to stay in places for longer periods of time. This impact influenced human population due to the fact that they were able to sustain themselves for longer periods of time and were able to settle down. This allowed them to develop new tools and techniques for farming.

There are pictures of each and represents the inventions or invocations and how they help in the global society. I found this easy to understand with how it was layered out and separated.
The pictures below are some of the pictures found on the slide for the third agricultural revolution.

Morphine is derived from the plant source Papaver somniferum and is used as Analgesic.

This was not essential my first choice in pictures. I got this image off of google. I thought that this image represents 1/3 of what would occur. It is showing what would happen to food sources every where and the environment, social, and economic factors all contribute to this. The picture that I was going to use is on http://www3.weforum.org/docs/IP/2016/NVA/WEFth_FSA_FutureofGlobalFoodSystems.pdf. It shows the demand shift and shows that middle class and lower class would struggle more than the wealthy. It also shows unchecked consumption.
