I have been working on several eTwinning projects with my students for years. I should confess that working in groups is essential for learners as they develop their collaborative and cooperative skills. Working in transnational groups is somehow changed my students.I observed how they felt confident and reliable while exploring and demonstrating their research.Meanwhile they increased their learning horizons and enhanced their knowledge during collaborative group researches. Learners benefit from such working as it promotes them for opportunities in future perspectives.

Italy
I worked on several Comenius and then Erasmus projects, comparing myself with different teachers from all over Europe(like my partners' project). Then I discovered etwinning in 2012 but I could never imagine getting so close to international twinning projects. My students had the opportunity to learn about different European realities from each day more and more. Growing with mutual comparison. Appreciating diversity with respect and enhancing their democracy. This year a new challenge has opened up: the confrontation with pupils and teachers from Greece and Azerbaijan has given us an extra gear. Every activity has been tackled in an interdisciplinary way and transnational. Every difficulty was shared with our partners. Never did we feel alone.Never we felt in difficulty. Even the moments of hard work were shared and faced together. Italian pupils were the smallest but we were never afraid to stop but we increased our skills and abilities. I feel satisfied and happy for the results achieved by my students and the cooperation started with the parents of the school .

Catalonia
Working on eTwinning improved my methodology of teaching and learning a lot. One of the reasons as an eTwinner teacher is because it allows us to work cooperatively and most of the activities need to be developed in transnational teams to get the final result. There are many examples that can show us how our students get involved in a very enthusiastic way: a common song or story, a forum which will help them to give their opinions and take a final decision, a role-play or drama story etc.
Working on transnational teams increases the value of students' and teachers' work, it helps to learn about the others, enhances creativity and allows a free exposure to other languages and cultures. Families appreciate this a lot!

Greece
This year my students of 5th grade had the chance to work with partners from abroad developing eTwinning projects. They collaborated throughout all the phases of the projects working either in National and International level. Feeling part of the eTwinning learning community and working especially in transnational groups helped them finishing the tasks in a more collaborative way increasing the interaction between them. At the same time they have broaden their horizons in an inclusive learning environment, developed their critical thinking through inquiry learning sharing the results of their research, opinions and ideas. Teachers were there in every step facilitating their work in order to have the most of the benefits.

Italy
I have had some opportunities to challenge my students in Transnational groups works. Even if they are Primary school students, I can say that it is possible to let them collaborate and work together. The first important thing is to give them the possibility to access to a common document (for example a Google doc) or a common board (Twiddla for example) or to write in forums or similar spaces to mediate the ideas and find common decisions to establish procedures and create collaborative products. In a nutshell, it's necessary to give them a space to be in touch and tools. The second important thing that a teacher has to bear in mind is that he has to facilitate the communication supporting it with substitution tables, chunks of language, language frames or simply letting them have a try and encouraging them and helping them if they are in trouble. In some eTwinning projects my partners and I created International groups that had some tasks to accomplish. In one of them the International groups had to create a collaborative story or a poem, in another they had to find solutions to environment problems or they had to create presentations or documentations and so forth. There are lots of possibile topics Transnational groups can work in. The benefits are enormous especially for the students' future. We just have to reflect about the fact that the most requested competence in the world of jobs is the ability to work collaborating. Transnational teams activities help students familiarize with this way of working so that in their future they will be able to work together.

Zaporizhzhia, Gymnasium2
Ukraine
We take part in 2 projects:“Be eco- friendly, eTwinner!” ,"This is the way we have breakfast"
Eco project is about effective actions towards the environment problem and protection. In this project we focus on Sustainable Development Goal related to the environment .
"This is the way we have breakfast" makes our students be aware of the fact that we are what we eat, we use Clil methodology. This project helps to revise vocabulary on the topic, to deep students’ knowledge, to improve reading skills, to develop speaking skills, to develop communicative competence, to promote interest in eating healthy.
Throughout the projects the students prepared and shared material on the TwinSpace for our partners to see. Sharing was followed by collaboration in two modes, synchronous and asynchronous. Live collaboration took place during three online meetings (one for each project phase) for which the students were arranged in transnational groups (TGs) of 5-7 with 2-3 students from each school in each TG. Initially, the students worked together asynchronously either to co-create online doc and padlet or in the FORUMS to talk about tasks and get to know each other. , eTwinning projects have helped to develop various 21st-century skills, such as autonomy, critical thinking, citizenship, and creativity.During these difficult times, I feel that it is important to remain inspired and motivated. eTwinning helps me to educate my students to a high standard, to keep them motivated and engaged and I can also support and encourage my other colleagues by sharing this experience.
