Suspense creates interest in movies and shows by adding creepy music or effects. This keeps the viewers interest and attention into the movie by making scary, thrilling moments, etc. You see them in lots of scary movies, it makes you understand it more by adding suspense so it makes you wonder.

we use suspence to keep things interesting in movies or possibly a show. but mainly movies because they tend to have a lot more suspence or foreshadowing because they're more complex. another reason could be because you might find out what the suspence was all about or the foreshadowing because the movies don't last as long as the shows. unless they're sequels to the movies. and lastly affects such as music or sounds can totally change the mood of how you feel about whatever you're watching.
