Greetings and Salutations! by Danielle Kaye

1. Is there a ‘center’ or a central theme in your timeline and life? If you will give a title for your timeline what would it be and why?

- The central theme of my timeline is having big dreams and even though it's a rollercoaster, I still have that dream and positivity in my life. The title is “Big Heart & Big Dreams” because it feels like it’s a fitting name since I always dream big and I always put effort and love into what I do hence the “big heart”.

2. Identify the turning points in your timeline. What were the thoughts, feelings and actions that you experienced?

- The turning points in my timeline is when I started doing art seriously and when I decided to pursue it. Back then, I doodle/draw a lot, but I never thought of it as one of the things I would pursue or work in the long run. I always felt that my artworks aren’t pleasing to the eyes and it doesn’t satisfy me as an artist, but once I started taking it seriously and practiced a lot, I realized that there might be some potential in what I am doing so why not stick with it? I enjoy it very much now and I am thankful that I stuck with it because I wouldn’t be where I am now.

3. Who are/were the most significant people in your life? How did they influence you?

- My family and my friends are the significant people in my life that influences me. My family takes care of me and supports me no matter what. With this influence, I grew up to be a kind and compassionate person.

My friends are a big part of my life. They keep me positive and I always smile whenever I’m with them. Those people who I met in High School that are still friends with me and those Game Changers that are as crazy as I am on a regular basis keeps me on my toes. They are the people that accepts me for who I am and they always appreciate me whenever I feel like I’m not feeling great.

4. What would you change or add, if you could? How would each of these changes or additions affect your life, or even change its present course?

- In all honesty, I wouldn’t change a thing. I am content with who I am with and who I am with. If I change or add something, I’d probably wouldn’t be the person I am right now. I believe in the saying that when you lose some, you win some.

I lost a lot and faced bad things and thinking about it, I probably wouldn’t meet the people that I am with now and I probably wouldn’t think like this if it wasn’t for that hardships. So, I am perfectly okay with this current life I am having because I couldn’t really ask for more :)

5. Where do you want to be in a year, 5 years, and 10 years? What do you expect your future timeline will be?

- I am hoping that I am still the optimistic person I am now. I also hope that I’ll be doing what I love such as illustrating and designing. I expect that once I have a job, I’ll be able to help my parents because I really want to do that since they have done so much for me that I just want to return the favor hehehe
