As educators, we are not just giving praises for desirable behaviour or placing punishment for undesirable behaviour. In daily interaction, a good TSR can foster positive feelings for the students and not necessary give encouragement when the students do something right. A warm smile can create motivation and a welcome feeling for all students and emotional and perhaps it might be an intrinsic reward and in reward the students might take responsibility in learning behaviour instead of earning tokens or extrinsic rewards

After the lesson today, I understood why some of the reinforcements that i tried with some students were not as effective as I hoped it would have been, due to satiation. I learnt now that we should try to move from less natural reinforcement to more natural reinforcements and to move to a more intermittent schedule of reinforcement as soon as possible. I also learnt that as educators, we have to be very mindful of our emotions and reactions towards students, to not react so quickly, instead we can take deep breaths and think through our actions before responding to the students' behaviours.
