Mr. Torres—My mother is from Sinaloa, Mexico, the state that I know and have visited the most. Before high school, I would go there twice a year for a month at a time each time. I always remember seeing the parselas and the silos filled with maize. That told me that we were almost to my mother's home.

Mr. Torres—My dad's hometown is a little pueblo on a mountaintop that takes over 3 hours to get there from the nearest airport. It's a beautiful place that I remember for my dad's family reunion. I remember going an island in Michoacan where there were little kids dancing la Danza del Viejito.

I was born and raised here in the city where a lot of rap and hip hop's history has manifested. At first, it didn't feel like home because in my K-12 schooling I was bullied alot. I wanted to get away so after high school I went to college in New York. After 4 years in New York, I missed my home. I realized how powerful it was to be where I was from. Not many kids from Inglewood go to private school. I came back and came back to teach. I love my students and will continue to love them.

I borned here and my family are from here, I had 12 school year. I really enjoy my hometown and recall my grandparents and my friend. Now I just can eat the food and speak Chinese, which would make me feel at home. This place is very meaningful to me. There are still buildings from the war. Because my grandfather is a soldier and he sometimes tells me some stories about the war, so I am wonderdul to visit the buildings.

My parents are from this place San Francisco el Alto, they were born in a village called Pachaj close to it.
What can you say about that place?
What I can say is that this is a very beautiful place even though it is somewhat small, in fact they tell you that it has a very large square because there on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays there is a square and then all of them sell wholesale and retail as buyers arrive. from various places and how many cook it for the sales of greater and less.
Some things in which I can feel at home would be like going for a walk in the mountains where there are rivers and so because they are places where my parents lived and where we were born.
