Reminds us of the pocahontas (red indians). We can hear the polyphonic texture. Tempo was slow and then became accerlerando. Alot of drum beats, percussions. 

Extend - boundaries of ballet. Not a typical ballet performance like swan lake. The music is dissonant.

Challenge - not a strong melody. The structure is messy. Dont know what's happening in the music and dance. Very abstract.

The negative response from audience is due to the ballet is not what is expected from a ballet. Perhaps, ballet was supposed to be graceful and it wasn't the case. It seems very primitive.There seems to be a mixture of classes in the audience.
