As long as you were physically capable, and able to shift a lot of bales at harvest time – you just fit in! Lindsey never had to “come out”.

After 19 years starting as a lecturer in agricultural colleges (including 5 wonderful years at Moulton College as Assistant Principal Curriculum) Lindsey moved into General Further Education Colleges, and in 2018 became Vice Principal at The Manchester College. A city known for the largest Pride outside of London, at Manchester it wasn’t just about the “label”. It was about standing up, standing out and being proud. At Manchester, Lindsey came out as non-binary.

Lindsey will speak about visible leadership and what it means to be overtly inclusive and promote a sense of belonging.
