Hello, my name is Alvaro Torres Medina.

I am 21 years old, I really like video games and even more if I play with friends.

I live with my family in Chaclacayo, very close to my university which is very good.

I study a lot but I also have a semi-formal job with my dad where I accompany him to his musical events and help him with the songs and carry the musical equipment.

I have 2 dogs that I love very much and every day I take them outside for a walk.

I live on the third floor of a building where the rest of my family also lives, uncles, aunts, cousins and my nephew. We are all very close and we almost always get together to eat and celebrate something.

I live at Av Nicolas Ayllon 2665 on the central road.

I live 2 blocks before the Los Angeles bridge.
I live next to the "Mercedes" block, where the "Inova School" school is, and next to the "acacias" block where another school called "Las Lomas" is.
My house is in front of a store, and across the street there is a mechanic/car wash.
Behind my house you can see the Rimac River.
In addition, in my house there is a voice coaching room.

Week 3 My neighbords

I have several neighbors because I live in a 3-story apartment. The neighbors are actually my family, my uncle and aunt live on the first floor with my cousins. Their dogs usually bark a lot and fight among themselves and sometimes the noise is annoying. When they use the method to water the garden, water does not usually reach my house, so we were able to lower the pressure a little. My aunt, my cousin and my nephew live on the second floor. They have cats so sometimes it is problematic because I have a dog that is quite aggressive with other animals so we had to put a fence separating the floors. Although there are some inconveniences, we don't have any real problems.

Week 5 Getting around

A very good place to visit if you are in Chaclacayo is the "chaclacayo park" It's a pretty nice place, with a giant lighted water fountain all around the center of the place. It has several businesses around it, you can go for a hamburger, an ice cream, a delicious chifa, or even go for some tacos. It is a fairly popular and busy area, so they usually hold fairs where different stalls are there for a certain period of time selling quite interesting things, from something as simple as keychains or clothing, to anime figurines and popular comics. Without a doubt, it is a place that you cannot miss in Chaclacayo.

Yesterday I had a pretty simple lunch. Some white carbonara-type noodles along with a Milanese. To drink, my mom prepared a delicious lemonade with ice. We accompany it with a salad of lettuce, avocado and cucumber, which is one of my favorite combinations, except when they have tomatoes. It's really a vegetable that I don't like unless it's in a hamburger, then I have no problem eating it.

I have been wanting to buy a video card for my computer for a while now, but they are too expensive and my budget is not that high. So I checked various sales pages, and I could see that they will have a Christmas sale with up to 40% off on various components. That's great because I won't have to spend as much money as I originally thought.

The sale will be the second week of December so I had to go on a good day, because it would be full of people. Fortunately, it was emptier than I expected, and after asking around in various stores I managed to find the card I wanted. It wasn't as cheap as I would have liked, but it was certainly a considerably good discount on the original price.

Plans and Dreams

My plans right now are to finish my degree without failing any courses. During the holidays I would like to get a part-time job to make some extra money.

I want to improve my academic skills, regarding certain courses in which I am weak.

In the future I would like to get a good job as a higher education teacher and earn good money. Being able to get a good house in a nice place, and have a car, although I am not interested in having the most expensive of all. By having the truck I always wanted I will be happy.

My plans for the future

I have an idea of what I would like to be or how I would like to see myself in the future.

With a good job as a teacher, perhaps at a university or high school, or even the idea of having a small business at the same time would be great. I don't know if I see myself married, but I would like to have someone by my side.

I would like to live in a nice place, relatively close to where my parents live so I can visit them more often.
