         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Japanese tea ceremony or sado in Japanese is a very graceful ritual that follows strict guidelines on how the powdered green tea or macha is prepared and served with traditional Japanese sweets that balance the bitter taste of the tea. (Source B) Tea was first brought to Japan from China in the eighth century CE by Buddhist monks. In the late twelfth century only the warrior class drank tea and it was considered a luxury. In the fifteenth century a ceremonial ritual was developed by Zen Buddhist priests. (Source A) When the shogun Achikaga Yoshimasu was in charge of the society drank tea as a medicinal drink. After the shogun began drinking tea many more upperclassmen and women began drinking tea. (Source C)</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>"Tea has long been closely been associated with Buddhism". (Source A)Buddhism is based on meditation and discipline which suits samurai way of life. It arrived from China in the sixth century CE. People that follow the Buddhist religion believe that all acts of human behavior are important and artistic. (Source E &amp; F) Confucianism on the other hand is all about harmony and balance in all things. It reached Japan in the third century CE.<span style="font-size: 13px;"> (Source A) The tea ceremony is all about discipline, meditation and is artistic and important. It’s </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">about being balanced and in harmony. These things all relate to both Confucianism and Buddhism in many ways. (Collaboration of all sources) The Japanese tea ceremony </span><span style="font-size: 13px;">is still performed today much the same way courteous of the Zen Buddhist priests who also wrote a book on the ceremony.
