In addition to engaging in the university's marketing program, Glenn McCoy studied graphic design and participated in workshops at the Chicago Art Institute in Illinois. He went on to enroll in the theology program at Evangel Christian School, and, during this period, he developed his relationship with the church. From 1991 to 1994, Glenn McCoy held the title of family memorial counselor at Gibraltar Mausoleum Corporation. The position required directly responding to the requests of his clients as they arranged their final needs. In 1994, he took on the roles of cemetery manager and family memorial counselor at Loewen Group International. For the next several years, Mr. McCoy was recognized as its top new family memorial counselor, and he also attained the Golden Eagle Award. He later advanced to assistant manager. Mr. McCoy provides Christian counseling in addition to his professional responsibilities.
