Task:

Create an animation that incorporates:

1. Introduction Scene: Begin your animation with an animated scene or montage (not more than 30 seconds) that includes the course name: SHPP3303 – Creative Multimedia Technology, followed by the title or topic of your animation.

2. Content: 2-3 minutes animation covering the content of the topic.

3. Ending Scene: End your animation with an animated scene or montage (not more than 30 seconds) displaying your name, programme, and the UTM logo.

4. Visual Elements: Use visual elements such as graphics, illustrations, photos or videos to convey your story, minimizing the use of text as much as possible.

5. Audio: Incorporate sound effects (SFX), music, or voice-over where appropriate to enhance the viewing experience.

Your final project should be between 3‐4 minutes in total length.

Topic Selection:

Choose a small concept or subtopic from any Form 4 or Form 5 subject related to your discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Physics Mathematics, Language Learning etc.) as the foundation for your digital animation project. The purpose of this animation is to enhance the information delivery process, ensuring that the animation conveys the content more effectively than using text or static graphics alone.

You are free to mix and use any suitable software or application that can produce digital animations (e.g., Powtoon, Animaker, Canva, Renderforest, etc.). Select the tool that best meets the needs of the assignment and your creative vision.

Submissions:

● Upload your video to YouTube (create your own YouTube channel or use your existing one).

● Ensure you set the video to Public or Unlisted (NOT Private).

● Post your YouTube link in this Padlet.

● Add your name, program, and description of the assignment - topic/content (including the tools/software that you used).
