Learning together through experiences is my preferable mode of personal growth. Learning with the colleagues, learning with the pupils and students, learning with the family members and witnessing the growth of each person - including yourself!
As teachers we sometimes forget that our role is not just to teach and deliver, but to learn too! Many bright minds have often said - to learn is to live, to breath, to experience the joy of life.
Some languages have the same word root for "learn" and "teach". Mokytis - mokyti (lithuanian), apprendre - apprendre (french) учиться - учить (russian) . Isn't it the same process? To share what we learn, to experience the growth together?
Whatever you do in your life - do not stop wonder at the marvelous things that surround you, be as curious as a child and be flexible in your learning journey.

I learned today about the healing power of water, the wonderful diversity of sea life and also nature and birds. I loved the island, the water massage, and snorkling in the different spots. Sharing lunch and spending time together in the island and the boat trip will be one of the most unforgettable moments of this trip for me for sure 🏝️

To be together with a group of teachers and to grow together so much feels like Europe is one country. Water massage isn’t so easy. To trust and let lose ist one things we should learn.

We learned a lot about water.
The water carries you, it cleanses, it gives you energy.
We should live more in harmony with nature....it is so rich and gives you everything you need to live.
It is our job to see this and protect them!

This day we live a truly fabulous experience. I learned that life can change in a few moments: when leaving the port the sea was calm, but in a very short time it started to rain and we had to change our plans. Which was not an impediment for us to have a wonderful day. In this sense, I reinforced my idea that there will always be problems, but the key is to learn to solve any type of problem that may arise. We also learned the importance of generosity to improve relationships, gratitude, love and make the lives of others better through water massage.
