Adaptation of the key for LEGO. He talked about how they adapt from the first generation of LEGO into the second phase of the company as he called it (LEGO 2.2). First two year of the new transformation period of LEGO, they dont have the clear strategy but rather have an action plan. The action plan help them build the confidence within the organisation. They started to develop the action plan into the strategy of their own. They didnt focus on the profit as their main initial goal but they set the goal to increase the number of productivity.

Find the unique of the business is another key point that he raised in the interview. He suggested that what make LEGO unique from the other is that it is a toy that cant be replace by the digital. As we all know today technology is growing in a very fast pace but it wont effect LEGO because he compared his product with the books " Just as Children still want to read books, they still want to have that physical LEGO experience and it can not be replaced by digital play"

"Do you take responsibility or do you blame it on external factors like currency, financial crisis" If thats the major problem on how the business is develop thats the very wrong direction if the business is heading into those mindset.

In my opinion, i think his leadership style is quite stand out from the normal leaders. Usually, we normally see the CEO lay his back in the office and giving the order to his subordinates but for Jorgen, he rather spend his working time watching his employees completing their tasks as he believe that by doing so he can send out the signal to the employees and it can contribute the level of engagement of his workers at the work place. He mentioned in the interview that most other CEO will spend their free time going out on holiday or playing golf but for Jorgen, he will spend time with his employees, schedule the meeting and pay attention to his worker's performance. What i have learnt from Jorgen is that the more time you put into managing your business, the greater performance the business should shape into and you also gain all the thick and thin details within your organisation.
