Details: Her act of resistance happened on Oct 4, 1944. She lied about her age to the head doctor of the NAZI's. Doing this kept her alive and had her go to a labor camp instead of to the gas chambers.
Dates: Oct 4, 1944 she was in the labor camps until she got liberated on May 5, 1945.
Important Facts: She wasn't happy or felt any emotions when she was liberated because she said that she had seen so many terible things. Helga, her mom, and many others were starved for 5 days before their camp was liberated. She said that one more day went by and her mom wouldn't make it.
