- Bong Joon Ho's Parasite won tons of awards last year, and it deserves every single one of them. The use of light and dark in every shot, the exact similarities from his art-boards to the movie, and the whole film itself! Still leaves me with hundreds of theoretical questions to think about at night
Baby Driver
- I love this film because of the use of its amazing soundtrack, the amazing costume design with its characters, and the use of creative shots + typography. Every time I watch it, I'm so enthralled I forget that I've watched it so many times before!
Snowpiercer
- Also by Bong Joon Ho, this film about social class and the journey from poverty in the back of a train to the elite in front, amazing. The use of its impossible setting makes the viewer think about their lives, and there are a ton of references to Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory that I never realize until I watch it again.
