We had a delicious online lesson about the kitchen unit on 9th February. In the beginning of the lesson our puoils played a game on Educaplay as a warm up activity. Then they shared ingredients and processes of their local meals by using Wakelet. After that, they shared the pictures of their food on Miro. Our local food was Stuffed Ribs. At the end of the lesson, as a collaborative work created an e-book by using Crello. Thanks for this yummy and great online lesson.

Prof. Dr. Cem BALÇIKANLI met our pupils and their parents. We got answers to the questions of why should we learn English. Dear Balçıkanlı emphasized the importance of knowing  English language in real life and school life. He gave us advice about foreign languge and some examples of how English can change our lives. It was a useful education for our pupils and their parents.

SILVAN SECONDARY SCHOOL SILVAN/DIYARBAKIR/TURKEY -SEVDA SARI

We know we live in the same world with animals. We're really animal lovers. Also, thwe stray animals need us to be fed as much as our love. As a Beyond the Borders project team, we decided to help the stray animals. Our pupils prepared some food for the street animals. And then we fed them all together. The stray animals are happy with our team, not alone. Thanks to my animal lover pupils.

We started the lesson with a warm-up video about the internet usage by using Adobespark. Then the students watched another video about internet addiction. The students shared their thoughts about the video by using Riseup.net. Next, the students expressed pros and cons of the internet usage via Ahaslides. After that, the students played a live game about the internet via Gimkit. Finally students voted on the emoji expressing their feelings and they wrote down their opinions about the last online lesson via Question Pro.

Thanks to all our teachers and our students who have contributed to activities during the online lessons of Beyond the Borders project.

We created the word search puzzle about Unit 1-Friendship with my pupils. First, my pupils chose the catching words related to Friendship. Next, they used an online word search puzzle maker called thewordsearch Web 2 tool. The activity was educative and enjoyable for them. Also the activity was our final product of our project. We hope this ending will bring new beginnings to all project partners and students.
