My name is Nikolaos Koukoutsis and I am special education teacher in the tourism laboratory at EEEEK of Chios. I am very happy about our participation in the project "Trash 2 Treasure" mainly for three reasons: a) students' communication and collaboration through new technologies will promote both their social development and their digital skills, b) the project is ideal for promoting students' environmental awareness and c) the cooperation and the exchange of opinions and educational approaches with our partners can contribute positively to our professional development.

My name is Ania. I’m a math teacher and a special education teacher at the Janusz Korczak Special School Complex in Gliwice. It’s a special school educating students from grade 7 of Primary School, through the First-Level Vocational School, the Vocational Preparation School, up to the General Secondary School.

For the past three years, I’ve been coordinating Erasmus projects at my school, but I’ve never taken part in an eTwinning project before. I’m happy that I’ll have the opportunity to learn something new, start a new kind of collaboration with teachers from other coutries and at the same time develop my students’ environmental awareness and their creative expression.

Hello, I am Jenny, an occupational therapist and the director EEEEK of Chios, School of Special Educational Needs for the past four years. Our school supports 25 students with severe special educational needs, autism, and cerebral palsy. I have participated in other e-Twinning projects, and through this one I hope to exchange good practices, collaborate creatively on artistic activities with other partners, become more familiar with new technologies, and enhance the extroversion and socialization of our students.

I love nature, cinema, creative constructions, and sports. I am very happy to participate in this program, as it will offer both me and my students the opportunity to meet new people, exchange ideas, and create together.
