Geb made things grow on Earth. There was food and water and plenty everywhere. Nut raised up the sun every day. Shu and Tefnut had four children. These four children were the first of the gods. Their names were: Isis, Set, Osiris and Nephthys. Then, because the chaos wasn't fully contained, Shu and Tefnut got lost in the waters of Nu. Atum was very sad over the loss of his children and sent his all-seeing eye out into the world. His children were found and returned to him. He cried tears of joy and when the tears hit the earth, the first humans were made. These humans vowed to worship and be loyal to the gods, and for their loyalty they were blessed.

The Egyptians believe that when you die, that is not the end. They believe in an afterlife, thus the reason that the mummify Pharaohs. It is said that when you die, Osiris would judge you to determine whether your time on Earth was for good or for bad. If you had been good and faithful, you went to a heavenly realm, much like Earth, but more perfect. If you were bad, you would be condemned to hunger and thirst. Osiris judged you by placing your heart on a scale with the feather Maat on one side and your heart on the other. If it was good, it'd be heavy. If it was bad, it would be light.

I really liked this module and learning, in depth, of the Egyptian Mythology and their Gods and Goddesses. I really like Greek and Egyptian mythology and I think one of the coolest things I learned in this module was the entire religious aspect of Egyptian culture, and how they believe in all of these extraordinary deities. I also liked learning about the importance of pyramids.
