Ví dụ: If you freeze water, it becomes solid.

Câu điều kiện loại 1: Nói về những điều có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại và tương lai

If + S + V(s/es), S + will/may/can + Vo

Ví dụ: If i study hard, i will pass the exam

Câu điều kiện loại 2: Nói về những điều không có thật ở hiện tại

If + S + Ved( nếu dùng to be thì để were) , S+would/could +V

Ví dụ If i finished my homeword, i could hang out with my friends

Câu điều kiện loại 3: Nói về những điều không có thật trong quá khứ

If + had Vp2/ed , S+ would have+ Ved/Vp2

Ví dụ: If i had cleaned my house, i could have gone to the cinema

Loại 1 : sự việc có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai

• Loại 0: để nói về những sự thật hiển nhiên... if+ HTD, HTD = if+ S+ Vs/es, S+ Vs/es.

• Loại 1: có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai if+ HTD, TLD = if+ S+ Vs/es, S + will/can...+ Vo.

  If I study hard, I will do well in the exam.

• Loại 2: không có thật ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai if+ QKD, S+ would + Vo

  = if+ S+ Ved, S+ would + Vo

  If I had more time, I exercise more.

• Loại 3: không có thật ở quá khứ

  if + QKHT, S+ would+ have+ Ved = if+ S+ had+ PII/Ved, S + would+ have+ ved..

  If we had left earlier, we would have arrived on time.

Câu điều kiện loại 1 được dùng để dự đoán những hành động, sự việc, tình huống có thể xảy ra trong tương lai khi đã có một điều kiện nhất định xảy ra trước. 

Cấu trúc :

S + will + V

Đảo ngữ của câu điều kiện loại 1:

Đối với động từ tobe:

Should + S + (not) + be + …

If you are regularly late to work, you won’t get a bonus this month.

→ Should you be regularly late to work, you won’t get a bonus this month.

Đối với động từ thường:

Should + S + (not) + V + … 

If the children feel happy, their parents will be satisfied.
