I first became aware of my own culture: I think in today's global era we tend to learn about different cultures really very soon but I had first hand experience when I reached this land & saw how courteous people  were. Holding the door for someone even when that person is bit far away made me realize the difference.

Culture to me is a way of identifying my root.

I became aware of my own culture the first time I went away from home to study at the university and for the first time experienced people from other cultures. That was when I realized that the way I thought things should be is not exactly how every other culture perceives it.
And this experience was an eye opener for me that there is no good or bad culture.

I was first exposed to this term while reading "Scrum". At that moment I figured that I was very lucky to work at companies with culture that resonated with my own.
Different cultures fit different types of individuals. When I was a high school student, my school invited a foreign teacher to teach us English and to make us know more about foreign culture. Then I started to know more about other culture and become aware of my own culture compared to others’.

Is there a good and bad culture?

I don’t think there is a good or bad culture. Every culture has its own character, advantage and disadvantage. But I can’t say some culture is a good or a bad one.

Since Canada is the most multicultural country I see a lot of culture here and would love to explore some of it during my lifetime. 
I became aware of my culture through my grandparents and then my parents who used to do some rituals on festivals and some other occasions.
