In some cases that’s even more interesting than the images on their own. It adds to the context of the image and it is really extraordinary to see. With the gelatine  paper prints to the amazing portrait on a medium format camera his work really shows that what’s happening prior to the photo is as important to what happens after.

The quote “Working on photography is working on oneself.” I can relate a lot to that because even the project now that I’m doing I’m not comfortable with . Every time I’ve done that I’ve came up with my best work. Because I have to work towards something with intention to make it better and better where as if I was doing something I was comfortable with I would produce the same boring thing over and over again. That’s also how I have found thing about my personality which is weird because I just wanted to take nice photos but it turned into something more.

The reason I've looked Bill Cunningham is because he is like the king of street fashion and became fashion in New York due to him just going up to random people and taking photos of them outfits. His work then later became got published and he himself became more well known it became almost a big thing to be shoot by him and people start to recognise and try to be shoot by him to get there outfits out there more. I think his a huge reference for me as I love his work and how he doesn't involve himself into the work. he really allows the person to be the director of the shoot, doing it on location wherever the person is and letting them poses themselves and their clothing accordingly to themselves and how they connect to the location and their clothing.
