         <description><![CDATA[<div>today were the first day i learn with madam Fitriah, she explain about the assessment and the assignment. She also open our eyes about this courses EDU555 curriculum and instruction.<br><br>She briefly gave us general knowledge what we must learn in this courses. For this courses we must know all the topics because this courses is important to us as a teacher to be.<br><br>This subject made me realize that as a teacher i must know all of the information about the curriculum and instruction. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This week we learn about the curriculum, the curriculum in Malaysian school and all the aspect in the curriculum.<br><br>curriculum can be defined as a plan of study for the teacher at school. For example primary school use KSSR ( Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah ) for their syllabus from standard 1 until standard 6. This curriculum were the plan of study for a 6 years learning at the  primary school.  In secondary school the curriculum were change to KSSM (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah ). This plan of study were design for form 1 until form 5.<br><br>Curriculum in Malaysian school were divided into 4 section or 4 partition. So for the section is plan of study, this plan were documented and academic in nature. Next, the co-curiculum were the activity that were being done outside the classroom. This co-curriculum is compulsory to the student because of their involvement with the school and their individual development.<br>Besides that,  extra curricula activities which is activities outside the classroom. this kind of curriculum were not compulsory to the student. Lastly the hidden curriculum. This kind of curriculum were involve the moral value, informal learning inside and outside the classroom. Therefore this hidden curriculum were being seen if they use the good moral value without they notice. This curriculum were unwritten in any textbook because it come from the attitude.<br><br>The aspect taught across the curriculum is meaning that there is a subject that use the plan of study to make sure the teacher and student get their purpose of teaching and learning. For example, English, Physics, Chemistry, Islamic Education and more. <br><br>The curriculum can be divided into 4 partial which is the curriculum itself, second the syllabus, next the scheme of work and lastly lesson.<br><br>today learning make me knowing that in the curriculum we must know the definition  curriculum and instruction,aspect across the curriculum and the curriculum in Malaysian school.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This week madam teach us about 2 models in curriculum and instruction which is Tyler's model and Interaction model.<br>For the Tyler's model, this model were proposed by Ralph Tyler. this model involves 4 stages which is<br>1. OBJECTIVE<br>2.CONTENT<br>3.METHOD<br>4.EVALUATION<br>from the objective they instructor or teacher must have aim and objective of the program based on the respective philosophy of education. Next the content must be selected to help students achieve the objectives. furthermore, the method is deciding on the way to organized and present the content. In the method, they have 3 principles which is principle of continuity,principle of sequence and principle of integration. The evaluation is determine the method to measure whether the curriculum is achieving the desired objective or result.<br><br>For the Interaction model, i know that this model were create to overcome the weaknesses of the tyler's model. this interaction model is a modification of the tyler's model.<br>in this model we can see that the curriculum development is seen as a dynamic process. it also begin with four curriculum element which is objective, contents,method, evaluation and these element can followed in any sequence.<br><br>from today topic i can know that tylers and interaction model have their strength and weaknesess and this topic we all must know because it were starting of the curriculum and instruction.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>this week i learn about Taba's model and Contemporary Model. before the learn started  i have the topic first at home because for the better understanding what is the taba's model.<br><br>Taba's model get the name from Hilda Taba and this model were the suitable model for language programme. Taba's model is well known as grass root aproach. this is because the teacher should have major input in the curriculum development and Taba also agreed with Tyler that there shoulf be a definite order in developing the curriculum to attaining more dynamically curriculum. In the Taba's model they have 7 steps for the model.<br><br>1. DIAGNOSIS OF NEED<br>2.SELECTION OF OBJECTIVE<br>3.SELECTION OF CONTENT<br>4.ORGANIZATION OF CONTENT<br>5.SELECTION OF LEARNING EXPERIENCE<br>6.ORGANIZATION OF LEARNING EXPERIENCE<br>7.DETERMINING OF WHAT TO EVALUATE &amp; HOW TO EVALUATE<br><br>This Taba;s model gives teacher a greater role by not just making them as a implementers but also as a developers.<br><br>Next for the contemporary Model, we learn that this model were little bit different from the others model because this model were involve on 5 step for the curriculum development.<br>1. need analysis<br>- analyze the need of student<br>2.formulation of objectives.<br>-make an objective because to establish a philosophy, vision, mission, goals &amp; objective of the institution.<br>3.selection of content<br>- the source of the content ( teacher,lecturer,academic advisor and more )<br>4.implemantation<br>-teaching &amp; learning process.<br>5. evaluation<br>-the method to measure whether the curriculum is achieving the desired objective or result.<br><br>what can i get from today learning is, taba's model is not complicated than the contemporary model because the contemporary model is more complicated.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>today we learn about assessment vs evaluation. the evaluation were based on CIPP model and the assessment is the process of get the data and gather it at one place. the assessment have different type which is pre-test,observation and examination.<br><br>after that the evaluation being used after the data were gathered, the teacher can evaluate the greds and student performance. the perfect defintion for Curriculum Evaluation is by making a judgement about the desirability of certainchange in student. the curriculum evaluation is important toward the student because it can evaluate student performance in class or outside class.<br><br>The CIPP model were taken from <br>1. CONTEXT EVALUATION<br>2. INPUT EVALUATION<br>3.PROCESS EVALUATION<br>4.PRODUCT EVALUATION<br><br>for the assessment it have 2 typee of it which is formative assessment and summative assessment. the formative assessment is tho on going program and the summative assessment is done at the completion of a programe.<br><br>Today topic were not heavy but its compulsory to know and understand how the assessment work and what is meaning CIPP model.<br><br>at the end of the class madam ask us about progression Course Design Project and she gave the feedback to us about our project.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>this week, firstly madam check our need analysis first because the need analysis is quiet hard to understand so she check first. later she started the lesson.<br><br>today lesson were about education on Malaysia. Education in Malaysia were started from 4 years old were the parents sent their child to kindergarten. So for the education in Malaysia we have, pre-school, sekolah kebangsaan, sekolah menengah kebangsaan, cluster school,sekolah berprestasi tinggi, STPM and tertiary education which is at the university<br><br>Thus Malaysia education were started since the children were 4 years old untill they grown up.<br>This show that Malaysian people make the education is important since child.<br><br>the moral that i get from today lesson is the more we learn the more we gain.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>this week we learned about ADDIE Model and ASSURE model. Madam divided us into two group. The left side must explain about ADDIE Model and the right side explain about ASSURE Model. the purpose of she doing this activity is to make us have a better understanding about this two type model.<br><br>ADDIE Model is the generic process traditionally used by instructional designer and training developers. ADDIE Model have 5 phases.<br>1. ANALYSIS- the problem is clarified, the instructional goals &amp; objective are established and the learning environment also learner existing knowledge and skills are identified<br>2.DESIGN -deals with learning objective,assesment instrument, exercises, content and so on. this design phase should be systematic and specific.<br>3.DEVELOPMENT- developers create and assemble the content. programmers work to develop or integrate the technologies.<br>4.IMPLEMENTATION - procedure for the learner developed. they must implement what have they learn with a useful method of delivery.<br>5.EVALUATION- consist of 2 part summative and formative. formative present each stage of this process. summative were design for domain specific item.<br><br>the second group present about ASSURE Model. this is an acronym for ( ANALAYZE,STATE,SELECT,UTILIZE,REQUIRE and EVALUATION). for this topic i learned that as a teacher we must prepared early before we teach the student . Thus the teacher must state the objective. Teacher also must pick and select strategies,technology and media. Teacher also must make a plan how to use technology for their teaching aids.<br><br>in the end of class madam satisfied with our group discussion and answer for the topic. she ask us to prepare for the microteaching assignment for next week.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>today is microteaching day. The first pair is Danial and Aswad. They taught about Islamic Education. They taught very well eventhought they were first pair to teach but they did very well. Their voice projection is loud and clear and their teaching aid quiet prepared. The content is good to us to know.However they must repair their english because they used broken englsh.<br><br>After they have done, the second pair is Fatin Adira and Lesley. They taught us about Moral Education. They taught us about manners in friends. Their teaching style were student centered and their teaching aids were creative and they well prepared to teach. They also make a song about the topic that they taught.<br><br>next pair is, Aiman and Hadi. They teach us Islamic Education on a topic about shrouding.<br>they started the lesson with a song. They relate the songs with the topic they want to teach. They taught us very well step by step how to shrouding the corpse. Their teaching aid is very good because they bring along the real equipment for the shrouding.<br><br>after they have done and get some credit from madam, the next pair going to teach about Art Education. this pair who is Anis and Ain Ramli teach us how to make a pattern. they show the video first and ask us to do after the video. they prepared the teaching aids very well. its new to us to do art so we enjoy doing it.<br><br>the next pair is, Haiqal and Rahman they taught about marriage in islam. this pair were little bit slow their progression but they achieve the objective. unfortunatelay Rahman is more stand out than haiqal. So Haiqal must train well to delivered the content.<br><br>the last pair for today is Steve and me. we choose the history education because both of us were strong in history. we choose dark age and renaissance era in europe. madam clarified to us that our voice projection is good, our content is good but not our hand writing because the student cannot read our hand writing. in order writing when teaching madam ask us to write early on mahjong paper so they will understand what we write. madam also remind us to have some media or photo on our lesson because it can show more real event to the student.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This week we also doing the microteaching, the first pair is Sufi and Guat Rin. they teach us about traditional dance. i was bad at dance but on their teaching i can follow step by step. they teach very well and the activity were so fun. However madam give some comment on the activity, madam said that instead of 5 person why not all of them do also the activitiy. <br><br>after that, the next presenter is Fahira and Syuhada. the teach us Science. The topic is about Solar System. the student were divided into two groups. they must create a song to remembering the sequence of the solar system. their teaching aid is very good, their acitvity is also good and they can control the class.<br><br>after they teach, the next pair is Ashraf and Fadzil. This pair teach us about modern mathematics. this pair were great combination instead of using complicated method to teach they used card to teach the student. the student understand verywell what this pair teach. they have good voice projection, they can controlled the class and the activity can make us remember the formula.<br><br>after we learn math, we continued the microteaching with the next pair who is Aima Shiha and Amiratul Arifah. they taught us about making sandwich. This pair were so fun because their selection of the topic is nice and handy. they also prepared well the ingredient. they also prepared the hygiene part like glove, head glove and apron. they also remind us the safety when using the knife. Overall this pair is good in class management and they have clear voice projection.<br><br>the last pair is Hadirah and Syahmi. they taught us about pattern. their acitivity in class were remind me when i was in primary school because the task is we must colour beautifully the characther that have been given to us. For their micoteaching, they have good teaching aids, they have content knowledge when they explain and their class management were very good.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Today is the last class for EDU555 for this semester. today we continued the microteaching. Aisyah and Nurul started first. They teach us about planting. they give each of us plastic container then they give ingredient to plant. They get positive comment from madam and friends because they have good classroom management and the voice is loud and clear.<br><br>the next pair is Atiah and Asmiera. they taught us about manner while eating. they explain very well, step by step so all of us can catch up what they taught. their appearance were so good like they were the instructor on how to eat properly in manner. their idea in using this topic is very good because not of all student in class know how to eat in manner.<br><br>The last pair for today last class is Zuhainiza and Akmal. they taught us about economy but they go bit deeper which is how to choose a job. this pair have good content knowledge in this because they have experience in learning the topic. they also prepared the teaching aid very well indeed. their explaination about the topic were easy for the student and they have chemistry on teaching in pair.<br><br>in the end of the class madam comment all of our microteaching. she also give some tips and adivices for us to improve our teaching skills and our microteaching. before we enter out the class we took photo with madam because this is the last class with her.</div>]]></description>
