hi i'm Mary and i like to scribble

I'm 18 (19 in a week) and from middle of nowhere NY

okay for context the first slide was me in 7th grade having fun on MS paint 3D when it was first released

the two things that motivate me is my late cat and my former high school art teacher

she was and still is the goat

i do a lot with existential art and gouache

i REALLY like gouache (however you spell it) like REALLY like gouache

oh and I really like to make manga. The 4th slide is a page from the very first manga i did for my AP portfolio

it was goated

i make dinosaurs out of clay, the smaller ones are more recent but ye

i know that a lot of kids are taught to find "real jobs" but then are led on to believe that they can just make the same thing over and over again without progression

I'd like to change that

I'm tired of repetition and redundance, and I thank my former art teacher for never sugarcoating anything

Helloooo!!! Im Spouzshmay. My name means moon in Pashto, Im from Lahore, Pakistan (i'm not built for the cold). I love to paint and draw (who would've thought).

I work a lot in 3D and Mixed media. my parents are both artists in Pakistan so i've grown up interacting with the artist community in Pakistan. I speak 6-ish languages, and I want to try to do every hobby possible (right now i've been knitting a scarf for my boyfriend).

Hi! I’m Nola, a 19 y/o artist who focuses on sequential arts. I’m an Illustration and Humanistic Studies major (with a minor in Graphic Design). I love making comics and all forms of narrative art. The first photos, in order are: an illustration of my original characters, a comic featuring said characters, and the cover for a comic I’m currently working on. Most of my stories have some sort of fantasy/otherworldly element and themes of family, love, and perseverance.

In addition to narrative art, I also love to do my own nails! I’ve been doing them for about a year and a half now. Included are photos of my Trigun inspired set and my Dandadan inspired set!

I’m from Maryland and live pretty close to MICA, though I live on-campus. I’m very close to my family, and I have older sister (who lives in Buffalo, NY).
