As i came out of the supermarket, I saw someone that i had wanted to see for a long time. Before the covid-19 pandemic, I often played basketball in the backyard of my old school with my best friends. It was a cheerful time of my life. When I realised that playing basketball helped me a lot of growing heights and made me sleep tighter than when I hadn't played this amazing sport. Over a year, my height increased up to 12 centimetres. But since the pandemic exploded in our country, I couldn't play almost any sports; therefore, I just stayed at home and concentrate on my studying because I am about to have a High School entrance test :< Staying at home made me a bit sad but when I stay at home, I can protect my friends, my family out of covid. Furthermore, I found an interesting hobby making me feel delighted whenever I tired. These days, I usually listen to music and dance to the music. I think I prefer playing outdoor sports to playing sports indoors because I can not only communicate with my friends but also take part in some sporty teams. It was my first time in the jungle and I was so excited. Last summer vacation, I went to the jungle to have a refreshing time.
When I got there, I was amazed at the beautiful natural scenery. It was fun for me to walked. At noon, I sat under a big tree to had lunch. Suddenly a monkey jumped down and stole my backpack. I immediately stood up and hurriedly chased. The monkey was swinging very quickly from tree to tree. Then, it took me 30 minutes to get my backpack back.
Although there was an incident, it was an unforgettable trip for me!

While waiting for the relief team to come pick us up, we sat down to eat snacks that I always carry in my backpack. It was my first time in the jungle and I was so excited. When I heard that my family are going to a national park, I ran into my room and promptly prepared for the upcoming trip. Frankly, I guess I brought too many things and some of them I even didn't use during the trip.
By the time I went there, the park had already opened and the weather was pretty nice to have sightseeing. After we had bought tickets to go there, My family was amazed by the breathtaking natural scenery.
I had never seen monkeys until I went there. The rainforest had not only monkeys but also many other species like birds, tigers, crocodiles, etc. During the sightseeing, I was stung a lot by the mosquitos:). The most attractive animal for me is the peacock. When I saw them, I was obsessed with their feathers. They have a gorgeous coat and they were seriously graceful in every movement.

In my opinion, having a group is the best way to learn a foreign language. You can casually chat with them and share new words. You can also get used to slang, pronunciations, and mannerisms. The best part about making friends who already speak the language (or are learning right along with you) is that you will be able to practice freely without feeling self-conscious.

You can also do some activities with your group, such as: watching a foreign movie that uses the language or writing to each other by letters and emails, borrowing each other's books (dictionary, pronunciation, stories written by a native speaker, etc.) Moreover, you guys can try learning a song and singing it together.

For me, Hanoi is my most familiar city. I'm really fortunate and grateful to was born as well as have grown up in this special land- the historical capital of Vietnam, where there were a lot of historic events happened here.
Hanoi is the capital and also the second-largest city of Vietnam in terms of population. Along with Ho Chi Minh City, these two cities are crucial socio-economic centres of Vietnam.
This city has an immemorial scenic beauty, unique cuisine as well a diverse climate and many other amazing things that you can't find anywhere in the world except here:)) That is all the reason why I can say that Hanoi not only is a nation’s socio-economic locomotive but also is a worth travelling city that attracts thousands of tourists each year.
But if you asked me, I would frankly say that you shouldn't visit Hanoi in summer for it's seriously hot. From my perspective, the most beautiful, comfortable season of the year in Hanoi is definitely autumn. When the fall is coming, the leaves in several trees is gonna turn yellow. Besides, the weather is gonna be perfect, not too hot but not too cold for a picnic in a park or a walk around walking streets.
The French architecture, together with unique cuisine, is the things I fancy the most about this dear city. They're also one of the main reasons why people want to travel here. And trust me, whoever you're, you'll probably be amazed by the ancient architecture constructed in the 19th century as well as be dying for our special food if you first experience them=))
In short, I love Hanoi very much. Nonetheless, I haven't had enough time to explore all the interesting things here. It's really such a pity! I want our wonderful capital to be more developed and the streets to be cleaner in the near future.

What I like most about Hanoi are the friendliness and loudness. The people here are very gentle. If you need help, they are always willing. The noise here will not make you bored. Hi Angela,
Yeah I moved to a new school just a week ago and it's quite good but some of students are not friendly but I think that is not a big problem for me at all. And I have made a friend who is Julie and she is very nice. The teachers are friendly, most of them are funny but some of them are a little bit strict but that's fine. Also the new school is much closer than the old school and it only take me 10 minutes taking a bus rather than 20 minutes before changing the school. In conclusion, the school was nice tho.

Nice to receive your email, thanks for asking! About my new school, it's pretty good. My new school is quite large, it is surrounded by many trees, so the air is very fresh. Moreover, it is also quiet because the road next to my school has no construction site and few people pass by.
Everyone here is also very nice, they always talk to me, especially my friend Julie, she's so cute. Julie sit next to me, she always helps me when I'm having trouble with something and we often team up, both in studies and games.
As for the teachers...they're not very kind, but their lesson are really fun, and they're easy to understand. Ah, I like the history teacher the most! she's beautiful and kind, moreover she's good at telling stories XD
For the way to school. It's not only quiet, it's also clean. The people there usually walk around so there's not much traffic. I also want to walk like them but my house. not very close, my mother often take me by car

My new school is quite beautiful, All the walls are painted in color so they look special, you can easily recognize it even when you standing in the distance. People here are friendly and sociable, I've made friends with a few people although not much but they treat me very well.
The teachers here are very friendly and fun, they often talk to us very happily during class so I never feel tired and bored. My school is located next to my house so when I go to school it only takes me 5-7 minutes to get to school.

Hello Angela,
We haven't had a chance to chat with each other since I moved to a new school.
When I first came to that junior high school, I was amazed by the modernity of the equipment in it. And on the contrary, it's not really difficult to make friends with the pupils as well as teachers here. They are all friendly and enthusiastic with each other, especially newcomers. I've had many new friends so far in school and one of them is Jullie whom I was in the same elementary. Besides, the lecturers here also have an effective way of teaching their students. But sometimes, I was kinda stressful and tired of doing a lot of homework assignments tasked by my teachers:)) In addition, the food for lunch has a tasty flavour that I can eat more than 2 bowls of rice during the lunch break=))
And I can tell you one of the main reasons why my parents decided to send me to this wonderful pre-high school is that it is located closer to my house than the old one. Therefore, it takes me only 10 minutes to go to school on foot every morning.
In short, I find my new school more amazing than I expected and I really enjoy having great teenage years here. Above all, I hope we can talk F2F to each other in near future, not chatting via emails like this.

Thanks for your email, I'm so happy to see it. This new school is big, has a lot of trees, beautiful area beyond my expectation such as green library and fish pond...I've made with some friends, they all very cheerful and aggressive.
The teachers are very friendly and creative. The lectures are combined with the use of images, videos, and PowerPoint, making them quite easy for me to understand. Those are funny and meaningful lessons.
The school is far from my house. It takes me 30 minutes to get to school by school bus.
