1st semester: making shakers, costume party, family day

Our English classes are very musical: kids sing at the beggining, in the middle and at the end of the class. Songs for saying hello, bye bye, for weather conditions, before storytelling, to clean the things up before leaving... We often use our own bodies in a percussive way! (clapping, stomping, fingertapping, etc).

Studying on Wild animals, some values are accomplished as: respect to the others and getting to know each other.

2nd semester: going green project - lets talk about BUGS!

Here, we can see some bugs being made of clay.

This project was shaped in some levels: bugs watching, a class with Zenilton (our gardener), sending a letter to the future and talking about the weather.

We could see and reproduce some weather conditions before see and touch the bugs and seeds.

Zenilton leaded us on a tour around the school. We could see some vegetables, fruit trees and, of couse, some bugs around!

Seeds were involved in a collage. Each week we accomplished another aspect: golden ribon as the sun, ink drops as rain, coloured paper as the rainbow. We could see how things have changed along the time.

It was awesome spent this year with these amazing kids. I hope the next year they'll get even more bright and shining days!

We played with some natural elements, as sticks. In this game, we should step in the gaps while some friends are moving the sticks rithmically.
