How international non profits are outsourcing the work to global south, so they can increase profit by shifting labour to the south, these have more social capital and political power yet these organizations are recruiting people from Africa with lower pay.

How male-centric projects fail to address gender is not about making them address gender; we need to question the structure; what will be our message as we enter these spaces? It has to be very clearly feminist. The message is to be what we are defining now through the manifesto. We don’t want to be mainstreamed anymore we want to dismantle the stream.

Despite the security councils’ adoption of a ceasefire resolution, I am not sure if the UN is a useful space for feminist organizing; even UN women are not very useful because it is too constraining. Not a space for radical thinking and challenging structural issues.

Katherine - agree, what the ongoing crises have showed though is the power and solidarity of the south. Also how inspiring it is to see the shifts in geopolitics and power of global south. It's quite satisfying to see the Global North, and former colonisers crumble under those shifts.
