A hero is an important aspect in an story, they save the day and are usually the main character. Nat is the main character in our story he drives the book back in time and saves Shakespeare. In the novel Nat says " I might have gone back in time", while he was back in time he saved Will Shakespeare's life and Will lived to give us his plays. Therefore the hero is more important than the villain in an interesting story after seeing how Nat drives the story.

In an interesting story the hero is more important then the villain. Nat saves Roper's life when a apple goes down his windpipe. As Nat sees Roper choking he saves him, "I stood behind Roper, put my arms round him, made a fist with one hand between his ribs and his belly button and jerked upwards hard". Therefore Nat saving the day by being resilient and kind, when this happened we see that Nat is a trustworthy character and makes the story more interesting and proves that the hero is more important then the villain in an interesting story.

The hero is a more important character in an interesting story as they continue to save the day. the hero in the king of shadows 'Nat' goes back to 1599 to save Shakespeare from dying because of the bubonic plague. When Rachel, Gil and Nat go into Arby's house looking for answers about the other Nat field they come across a stack of books. Rachel says that "if he'd acted with Nat field instead of with you, he'd have caught the plague and died" therefore Nat saving the day once again by going back has not only saved Shakespeare but has also made this and interesting novel, and proves that the hero is an important aspect of an interesting story.

The villain is way more important than the hero and more interesting as they create the plot majorly. Nat would have a straight forward play and wouldn't have had a good time and Roper was his competition or challenge. If Roper wasn't in the story, Nat would've have learnt that mistakes happen and wouldn't have had the chance to become a hero. That's why I think the villain is more important than the hero.

The hero is the most important character in a interesting story after solving problems and saving the day. Shakespeare is the talented and caring hero who helps Nat believe and know that his father loved him and didn't commit suicide because of him. Nat believes that his father committed suicide because of him but Shakespeare holds on to Nat's shoulder and tells him " Do not say thou wast not enough for thy father". Taking care of Nat he also tells him " I have a poem that I shall copy for thee, that thou shalt read and remember". Nat now knows that his father did not commit suicide because of him and that Shakespeare is his hero. This shows that the hero is the most important character of a interesting story and that they solve problems.

The hero is by far the most important character in any story, because without the hero there is no villain and no story. The hero inspires us to overcome challenges and face life. like in the book King of Shadows Nat has to overcome the loss of his parents living with his aunt Jen he also overcome his illness. Nat shows us that life isn't easy and that you have to challenge yourself to overcome things that are thrown your way. This is why the hero is the most important character in the story King of Shadows.
