If you were told that this was Massachusetts you would be surprised as Massachusetts is heavily urbanized today. Pierneef uses geometric structures by using lines, color and flat surfaces to create this landscape painting.          <description><![CDATA[<div>This is made with watercolor by the famous Aboriginal (an inhabitant, who has existed from earliest times or before arrival of colonists) artist Namatjira who worked in a European style, with luminous white trunks, palm-filled gorges, and red mountain ranges turning purple at dusk. The artists coded these landscapes based on traditional sites and sacred knowledge. He combined European and Aboringinal influences. </div>]]></description>

The landscape shown is of mountains that extend vertically with delicate and refined style. Qui Ying is considered own of the four masters of the Ming Dynasty from taking influence from Tang Yin, Suzhou, and Wen Zhengming, which all project similar depiction of landscapes with Qui Ying adding bright color.
