Effect: They decided that Germany would be split between the allies.

Effect: The Korean and Vietnam war happened.

Effect: Over 200,000 people died.

Effect: Israel went against others beliefs and started a war with Palestine.

Effect: Peoples Republic of China falls to communism and becomes good allies with the USSR.

Effect: The U.S. sent men to help them out and they were eventually able to reach China's border. But they were soon pushed back to where they were at the very beginning of the war.

Effect: The U.S. intervened and Guatemala began holding elections for leaders.

Effect: It created the iron curtain and Stalin had more control over their satellite countries.

Effect: Over 2,500 people died and the USSR gained more control over Hungary.

Effect: Fidel Castro became a leader of Cuba and Cuba became communist/socialist.

Cause: Due to the south having racial opinions against other ethnic groups specifically black people. He wanted to show how segregation will be every day, every month, always, and forever.

Effect: This was a big point in which people realized how Civil Rights needed to be changed. People shouldn't be judged/segregated in public areas like these. (The Civil Rights Act of 1964)

Cause: With the help of the NAACP, they were going to stage boycotts on every public transport bus, trying to get more racial equality.

Effect: Hundreds were arrested but it showed the determination and need for more equality across the country.

Cause: The movement started in Greensboro in which black men would sit up where white people usually set and wouldn't move when told to.

Effect: Black people that did these sit-ins were beaten, abused, and sometimes arrested. Though, it began to spread across the country and gave better rights in public places (in the north and few parts in the south).

Cause: While protesting and preaching to others about racial equality in Alabama, riots started and everything was out of control.

Effect: MLK was arrested, people and children were hosed down with fire hydrant hoses, and police dogs were used on the marchers.

Cause: Thousands upon thousands all mixes of races wanting more equality and fairness for the masses. So they Marched to Washington to protest.

Effect: MLK made his "I have a Dream" speech and eventually was able to get the president to back his requests and eventually those were passed in legislation.

Cause: After the March on Washington, MLK talked to President Johnson, he was able to get him to sign the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and it was passed a couple months later.

Effect: This was a milestone in Civil Rights history in which it allowed for black people not to be discriminated or segregated in public areas.

Cause: MLK was planning the Poor Peoples March and the day before when he was making a speech, he was shot.

Effect: Riots were caused, people were angry, and just all around chaos ensued.
