Band is a way to create different sounds and music! It’s lots of fun and we can all learn new things. Everyone gets the chance to play a instrument. I play a woodwind instrument. When you get into band, you see lots of cool and different instruments. The best part of band is that we are all learning together and having fun! Band is a way to show people your creativity! When you get into fifth grade, you get new, fun instruments. For example, if you want to play a bass clarinet, like me, you can start playing a clarinet! A few new instruments that you will see when you get into fifth grade are bass clarinets, percussion, French horns, tubas, and many more cool instruments. Another fun thing we do are clubs for band. Two clubs I do are called honor band and clarinet club. There are many other clubs that are perfect for everyone to try. Band is so much fun and is a really fun thing to try! I play clarinet and it is so so so much fun. I can play smooth soothing music, intense action packed music, or anything else really! You can play with your friends have amazing teachers and best of all making outstanding music. If you enjoyed playing the recorder and think that you got the hang of it pretty well then you should totally move into playing the clarinet. It is a easy transition because the instruments are quite similar except for the fact that you can play more songs and notes. Additionally you can put on mini performance for family and friends as gifts but we do get to have a winter and spring recital too. Being in the band is awesome! You get to learn a new instrument , you get to challange yourself by playing new songs, and it also helps your brain grow. I think the baritone is the best instrument i the band because you get a nice low (but not to low) sound. And, there is three vaules you push down on.The baritone is is easy to learn, hard to master! that is pretty much all I have to say.
