Why does racism exist in america still? What Breeds racism and how can we stop it?

My topics is about racism in america. What breeds it how can we prevent it and what are the affects of it.

The first section explains racism and different types. Then it goes on to give a history lesson on the Atlantic slave trade. The abolishing of slavery and the reconstruction eras are mentioned as well.
In my opinion Wikipedia is very reliable. They have stepped up their security and mostly if not all of their info is correct. The update loads of pages daily to stay up to date .

This article touches on the march in Charlottesville and Donald trumps inability to condemn neo-Nazis and that his campaign will be riddled with racism. They touch on the fact that since trump has been elected that the faction of white supremacists are more comfortable coming out and expressing their opinions. It does state that Americans are far less racist than in previous years giving numbers such as "Americans appear far less racist than in the past. Only 4% of Americans supported inter-racial marriage in 1958. By 1997 that was 50%; today it is 87%. Inter-racial marriages climbed from 7 to 15 percent of all marriages between 1980 and 2010.

In my opinion the fact that trump didn't outright dismiss them was a big factor in people believing he is racist. The incline in white supremacists is true definitely. and the fact that america is a lot less racist but it still exists which is bad. This source is extremely reliable.

This article talks about some videos that surfaced online of young University of Oklahoma students, members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, reciting a racially-charged chant. It states that age doesn't matter the old racists do die off but they leave there kids here who were raised in that environment. They talk about racism more and ways of moving forward.

I do agree with the statement that racism will not just go away because the older generation dies off. The older generation still leaves their kids here who they have infected with the hate. This source is reliable

Of course you know imma say racism is a big problem. I do believe taht racism has grown since trumps election.

In this interview a Black-Latina reporter interviewed a leader of The KKK. The leaders name is Chris Barker The reporter watched as he conducted a kkk meeting in which participants dressed up in hooded robes and danced around with torches – and then sat down for an interview. Almost immediately, Mr Barker asked her why she didn't "go back" to her country of origin. In his interview with Ms Calderón, Mr Barker referred to her as a "n-----" and a "mongrel". He also claimed that his organisation was a Christian group, not a hate group, and that he did not consider himself a racist.
I say he definitely doesn't speak for every white person out there. The actions this man shows and what he says shows how bad racism is. If we continue to let is breath than they probably will kill a lot more immigrants and African Americans .

The continue to talk about the NFL protests and the #Take a knee Sharpton says Trump's angry reaction to the players' protests are a "switch-and-bait" tactic to avoid real issues such as police brutality.
I agree with The Rev and i do think trumps outburst wasn't right. we have all theses other problems and he is worried about the NFL Players taking a knee that's disgrace.

In my opinion the fact that they all said no means. A he is not at all racist and believes what he is doing is whats best and not based of skin color. Or B he paid off all his friends and family to say nice things about him.

I was adopted but i was adopted by a black family i do know it is kinda hard being adopted by another race. One is the bullies that are racist that gives them another weapon.

It says "The truth is America has not really come to terms with its ugly, racial bigotry and injustices.
