Cristobal. Amazingly, he was depicting the scene exactly as it can be viewed from my hometown of Los Baños. This is a more popular painting, showing the exact set of mountains. Note the similarity between the cloud formations. Today you can still see some rice fields in the area but there are also buildings and subdivisions.

La Bulaqueña, literally "the woman from Bulacan" or "the Bulacan woman", also sometimes referred to as Una Bulaqueña ("a woman from Bulacan"), is the Spanish title of an 1895 painting by Filipino painter and hero Juan Novicio Luna. Bulacan is a province in the Philippines in Luzon island . It is a "serene portrait", of a Filipino woman wearing a Maria Clara gown, a traditional Filipino dress that is composed of four pieces, namely the camisa, the saya (long skirt), the panuelo (neck cover), and the tapis (knee-length overskirt). The name of the dress is an eponym to Maria Clara, the mestiza heroine of Filipino hero José Rizal's novel Noli Me Tangere. The woman's clothing in the painting is the reason why the masterpiece is alternately referred to as Maria Clara. It is one of the few canvases done by Luna illustrating Filipino culture. The painting is currently displayed at the so-called Music Room of the Malacañang Palace, the seat of the government of the Philippines.

Artists are drawn to socio-realistic arts because they are available for public consumption. The melodramatic socio-political allegory of Francisco's murals drew the attention of critics. Because it was created for the public to see, it sparked debate and differing interpretations. There are unquestionably a lot of Franciscos around right now. They used protest visual art forms such as street theater, murals, and effigies to elicit public opinion on issues affecting the underclass.

Our group has various thoughts and opinions about the arts of our regions. Most of us didn't know about the arts that we have researched since we don't have that kind of interest in these arts and we are more focused on modern technologies. Through this activity we realize that every artwork of the region has a different taste and uniqueness. Each art represents and promotes the culture and tradition of every region. Art offers significance to our lives and aids in our understanding of the world around us. It is an important aspect of our culture since it allows us to gain a better knowledge of our emotions, as well as develop our self-awareness and openness to new ideas and experiences. Different regions have different art that best represents their identity, the artworks speak for their behalf, and for the Filipinos to establish this kind of pride really makes us proud of being Filipino. From those artworks, we can see how magnificent and creative Filipinos are, that bringing Philippines name to the other country.
