Young Goodman Brown is a man that goes out from his house to a trip into the forest near it. He encounters a series of people, known by him as religious and good people, that were heading into a devil’s ceremony; the first man he saw tried to convince him to enter the worshiping, but with his love and loyalty put in his wife, he doesn’t accept. During his time in this forest, he starts to hear the ceremony, and he sees in it, participants as his mother, father or his wife. After all this ceremony ends, he is not able to see the good on Earth, and he loses all hope and faith in the world until the day of his death.
