An example: Celebrating a festival like Diwali with my family, where traditions, values, and relationships come to the forefront, is a life experience I can relate to the Global Context 'Identities and Relationships' because it involves exploring how family traditions and cultural practices shape personal beliefs, values, and my understanding of identity.

My example would relate to my travels and the unique natural and man-made landscapes that I have encountered. E.g. there are some differences and striking similarities between the natural landscapes of Brisbane and Tangier. This would relate most to 'Orientations in space and time' and more specifically 'Natural and Human landscapes and resources'.

Creating an animal rights group in Sixth Form College and taking part in demonstrating against live animal exports. This links to the global context of fairness and development, in particular, rights and resppnisbility.

Held regularly to get to interact and learn about the culture of the different tribes in Kenya living in Germany. This year we had a festivity around the Kikuyu tribe. We were educated on their way of life e.g. marriage ceremonies, language, etiquette, traditional foods etc. This was very informative especially for the young people who were born here and migrated here when they were young.

Growing up as an Italian family, with migration background, in England. A continuous question over who I am. Am I Italian? Am I English? Both? Neither? During school years I am seen by my peers as an Italian boy. In Rome, during my studies, although being acknowledged as "the Englishman" I was able to discover and appreciate my Italian roots and develop in my undertsanding of my culutral heritage: an Italian born and raised in England.
