My Passion for Theatre started in my junior year of high school when I got casted in my school's production of Guys and Dolls as Benny Southstreet. From that point on, I knew I wanted to be an actor. (I am the Tall one in the pink suit)

VHSL One-Acts

Senior year started to pick up and I started participating in more performances. One of my favorite things I did was compete in our high school's VHSL one-act cast in a six Person Drama. We ended up making it to States and getting runner-up.

The Invitation

After we were done with VHSL we got an invitation to compete at Shenandoah University in the Virginia Thespian Festival to compete against other schools across the entire state rather than just our district and we once again ended up with second place but we could not have been more proud of ourselves.

Raising Money

Right before the Musical season begins we always put on a show to raise money for the musical with a comedic performance at our school. The performance was Over The River and I got casted in another comedic role which was a nice change of pace after being so dramatic for 4 months.

Musical Season (The Audition)

It is now Musical season and the show revealed to everyone was Big Fish. When Auditioning for this show I put so much pressure on myself to get the lead role in this musical. I learned the choreography for it at my house and sang my chosen songs countless times just to give myself a little more of an edge over everyone else audition

Musical Season (Rehersals)

After A terrifying audition, I got the lead role in the show and I was ecstatic. The rehearsal aspect of the musical was by far the most exhausting few rehearsals I've ever done but to be fair I ended up losing 20lbs by the end so small silver lining.

Musical Season (The Performance)

After an exhausting 3 months of rehearsals, It was finally time for the performance. We normally do 4 performances one on Thursday and Friday and two on Saturday. Opening night is always the most stressful performance for me because I want to make a good effort so that I would feel more relaxed for the rest of the week knowing I set the bar high. But despite my nerves, we put on an amazing performance and tore the house down the rest of the weekend!

Favorite Parts About the Show

I didn't know much about the show until this performance and didn't realize how good it was. One of my favorite parts about the show was the score (The Music) specifically the song "Time Stops" The music for this song is absolutely beautiful and perfectly encapsulates the moment when you see the love of your life for the first time.

Looking Back at High School

Safe to say I truly had an amazing senior year and accomplished A lot but the icing on the cake was getting the lead rule in Big Fish and getting to do new things that I had never tried before. Though I am proud of my accomplishments I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with all the people I knew in high school. Closing night was an emotional night knowing A lot of us were going our separate ways and starting college in just a few months. But I would do it all again if that meant I got to see all my old friends again.

Looking Forward to

Though College has been A tough and eye-opening experience I'm still trying to go after my dream and am still performing just at a smaller level. I am looking forward to performing on a much higher scale but for now, education comes first

My Dream Role

My Favorite show and dream role is by far Newsies playing Jack Kelly. When I first watched this show on Disney+ It lit the spark in me to start performing. I'd never seen anything like it from the story to the score everything about was incredible. I've sung the entire soundtrack in my car at least a dozen times and now the whole script by heart.

What is it I Truly Want to Accomplish

Though my dream is to make it to the big leagues my goal as an actor is to continue being an actor and make enough money to support myself even on a small scale. I always say to myself to dream big but aim small and be grateful for I have now rather than what I plan for myself in the future because I don't know what God has planned for me in life. But I know its better than what I want.

My Retirement Dream

Hopefully, if all goes well and I make it as an actor I would like to open up my own theatre right here in Williamsburg and put Broadway-level productions of every caliber at my playhouse and start an after-school program for middle school and high school students at my theatre to not only perform but also compete at conferences and give them opportunities that i wish I had growing up.

Raising A Family

I have always thought about having a family and being a father but there are so many things I still want to accomplish so definitely sometime later down the road when i start to slow down.

I know I have A lot of dreams but sometimes its better if those dreams stay in your head and add some logic to your life so that you can separate fantasy from reality and enjoy life where you are now
