There are grand juries and trail juries, another name for trail juries is petit juries. Still according to uscourts.gov, trail juries are public and grand juries are private. There are also certain groups that can be exempted and people can be exempted because of extreme inconvenience. Those are things required to be a juror. So they go in a discussion room and decide if the person is guilty or not. You should go over the details very carefully like they did in 12 angry men. Also this decision process is not a game, the decision the jury comes to affects the persons life.
