Click on the image below to play video.]]> 2020-05-04 18:44:57 UTC https://padlet.com/rebeccarimoldi/e4ru1j7s1fvrbc17/wish/550246249 Welcome Scholars! rebeccarimoldi https://padlet.com/rebeccarimoldi/e4ru1j7s1fvrbc17/wish/550247082 I like apples!  In fact, I like apples so much that when my children were young I planted an apple tree in my backyard.  I thought how wonderful it would be to pick an apple, any time I wanted, from my very own tree!  It is great.  The apples are red, sweet and delicious!  However, I'm not the only one that thinks the apples are tasty.  Every morning a flock of wild parrots visit my backyard.  I hear them long before they arrive.  They squawk loudly as they fly in circles above my house.   After several minutes, they land in my tree and help themselves to a meal of tasty apples.  At first, I tried to discourage the parrots from eating the apples from my tree, but now I've come to enjoy their visits and I realize that there are enough apples for both my family and the parrots.
