This image is an example of overexposure, or excess light within the image, due to the (early evening) sunlight and also the positioning of the photographer. The image was taken with iPhone XR, therefore limiting the settings able to be used to minimise the exposure. Despite the option to use Adobe Lightroom to edit the image, this approach is not successful when attempting to reduce the light - if there had been shadows within the image, it may have been possible to identify more detail from the dark areas.

Photography equipment used for images is iPhone XR; with the addition of Abode Lightroom App to provide adjustable settings. This is useful, as on the iPhone most of setting default to automatic mode, where all controls are set by the camera/ phone . Memory card is a microSD (secure digital) which is a smaller version of an SD card often found in phones, drones and small cameras.
I intend to progress to a DSLR camera, as I have just purchased a Nikon D7000 body and 18-200mm VR lens. This requires a Memory card to be used alongside to store images, therefore I will be using an SD (secure digital) card 32GB, which I have formatted ready for use.
The use of a UV (ultraviolet) filter, protects lenses from being scratched and will adjust the amount of light coming into camera. Therefore, this will be used in conjunction with the body and lens above.
The battery within the Nikon D7000, is installed (once charged) into the insert at bottom of the camera body and is clicked into place (to secure the battery in place) before closing the battery cover. There is a battery status indicator on the display of the camera to enable me to check the battery level.
