         <title>On August 26th, 1928, the Appellant drank a ginger beer made by the Respondent, which had remains of a rotten snail that she did not feel until she had drank a larger amount. Because of this incident, she suffered from shock and sever gastric conditions. And so she started the proceedings against the producers of the beer.</title>

In result to consumption of the ginger beer, the appellant suffered from shock and severe gastro enteritis.          <title>There is a case from 1928 that is relevant to the facts and issues of your case. In that situation, the appellant drank a bottle of ginger beer that her friend had bought for her. The bottle had pieces of a dead snail in it, and the appellant didn’t notice until she drank almost half the bottle. She then sued the manufacturer because, she says, it caused her mental duress and severe intestinal issues. The case went to an appeals court so they could decide if the manufacturer should be held accountable.</title>
