the picture on the left has more of a direct impact on people, as there is a person centrally located in the photograph. this makes people think about their association with trash and society. the picture on the right does not have a person located in it, but has more of an impact in terms of showing people the natural beauty of the world. -- katie

I feel like the trash on top is the tip of the iceberg regarded to the climate crisis. We simply associate trash with the climate crisis when in reality there are deeper roots to the problem, in this case mankind.

I think the glacier has always been interesting for me as it is only a fraction of reality that we can actually see. In terms of the environment we can only see a fraction of the problems that we actually are creating. Ethan

The first image feels claustrophobic. It uses motifs we’re familiar with to inspire the viewer to reflect on human interaction with their immediate surroundings.

The Aquaman poster feels more normal to look at because we are familiar with the main character. The second picture feels more unsettling because I’ve never seen anything like the babies at the bottom.

The first image feels disturbing because of all the babies on at the bottom of the ocean. Even though the Aquaman one has a man in the water, it feels more normal because of how fantastical it looks.

When I see the photo of the dolphin underwater the first thought was “this is ai”. It took me a little bit longer to see the babies and that makes me think about the prompt that could’ve been given to the generator. Looking at the Aquaman poster I can see the effort put into making the poster and I think “That’s a cool poster.”

I think this is an image with a dolphin as the main subject swimming over a valley of weirdly uncanny ai babies underwater.

The second one is more so a movie advertisement of aquaman. It feels less unnerving in an uncanny (like the dolphin ine) way but definitely gives a less cutesy vibe than the dolphin itself.

One aspect of the Aquaman poster is its sense of scale. It uses perspective and large animals to give a sense of large space in the ocean.
