for the first part of our poster it is focused on who the citizens are giving there food and supplies to. A happy soilder eating a drum stick provided to him by a family household. This shows how people needed to give up supplies in support of the soliders all BECAUSE of the war.

The second part of our poster is a woman preparing food in a hurry for the soldiers. She herself is told to ration in case of encounters like this. Her showing how quickly she is preparing correlates with the meaning of the need to support the war and ration.
