This communication serves as an urgent safety notification regarding a severe weather event. Based on official warnings from Local Emergency Management, and Weather Service, we anticipate significant, heavy flooding that poses a direct risk to travel routes and campus safety.

The safety and well-being of our pupils, staff, and parents are our absolute highest priority.

Effective immediately, Elite Apex Grammar Academy will be closed, and all in-person classes are suspended as of 06/07/2041 on Saturday.

Specific Instructions for Teachers and Staff

To: All Faculty and Staff of Elite Apex Grammar Academy

Action Required: IMMEDIATE

Campus Security: All staff currently on campus are to follow the established Severe Weather, Flood Emergency Protocol ([Protocol Document Of EAGA]). Please secure all ground-floor resources and critical equipment.

Student Management: Ensure all students remaining on campus are supervised in designated safe zones ([Safe Zone Location Of EAGA]). Coordinate closely with the Administration for the safe and orderly handover of pupils to their parents/guardians. No pupil is to be released without direct confirmation of safe collection arrangements.

Remote Work/Check-in: Faculty are to transition immediately to remote working protocols and should not attempt to travel to school after 15:00. You are required to check in with your Department Head every three hours until the "All Clear" is issued.

Do Not Travel: For your personal safety, do not attempt to travel to or from the Academy once flooding begins or if roads are compromised.

Further updates will be disseminated via the staff emergency communication system.

Specific Instructions for Parents and Guardians (Pupils Aged 4-10)

Action Required: IMMEDIATE PUPIL COLLECTION

Immediate Collection: We require all pupils to be collected from the Academy as a matter of extreme urgency. Please arrive at the designated collection point ([Location Specified: The Dormitories]) no later than 14:59.

Safety Protocol: Prioritise safety over speed. Do not attempt to drive, walk, or wade through floodwaters. If your travel route is already compromised, please DO NOT RISK TRAVEL and immediately notify the Junior School Office at [Emergency Phone Number] or reply directly to this message.

On-Campus Stay (If Unavoidable): For those parents who cannot safely reach the Academy due to flooding, please be assured that pupils will be supervised overnight by a core team of teachers and staff in a designated, secure, and elevated zone on campus. We will provide all necessary care. We must be notified of this arrangement immediately.

Academic Continuity: A remote learning plan for the duration of the closure will be communicated separately via the Parent Portal once the immediate safety priority has been addressed.

Listen very carefully to your teachers and follow their instructions quickly.

If you are going home, STAY SAFE and DO NOT go near any flooded water.

We will tell you when it is safe to return to school.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide an "All Clear" notification when it is safe for all members of the Elite Apex Grammar Academy community to resume normal operations.
